All the events of the centre have been covered by National and local News media and as a News item in provisional News (DD) .

2002-2003

Several articles on Center's activity appeared in News paper and in some television Channels.


2003-2004

Several articles on Center's activities appeared in News papers and in some television Channels. Special mentions are to be given about the extensive coverage on the Telescope making workshop in the Telegraph Nes paper, in the Khas-Khabor, and Frontline Magazine and on the inauguration of the new sites of the Malda Branch of ICSP in Doordarshan Channel. Several News papers also covered the District-wise Space Science Sympusium held at Rabindrabhawan Coochbehar.


2004-2005

Several articles on Center's activities appeared in News papers and in some television Channels. Partcularly important was the coverage of the viewing of Venus Transit on the 8th June of 2004 by Doordarshan, ETV etc. In Malda, live te;ecast of the event was conducted by the members of the Malda Branch of the centre and live question/answer session was conducted. News items have been published in various news papers.


2005-2006

Several articles were published in the news papers on CSP activities. Special coverage was made on the quiz competition in space science. Prof. U. R. Rao’s message delivered on the occasion of the State level quiz competition was also covered.


2006-2007

Several articles were published in the news papers on CSP activities. Special coverage appeared on the small sattelite "Continuous Spectro Photometry of Black Holes" (CSPOB), A proposal which has been sent to ISRO for continuous observations of Black Holes.


2007-2008

S.K Chakrabarti and D. Debnath were interviewed in 24-Ghanta News Channel to discuss the achievements of the astronout, Ms. Sunita Williams. Several activities of the centre were Published in various News papers.


2008-2009

Newspaper articles: Several newspaper articles on RT-2 payloads and their activities, on Chandrayaan-1 launching etc. were published. In Bengali news channels and National channels several interviews were taken (on Chandrayaan-1 mission, RT-2 mission, Kepler mission etc.


2009-2010

Live telecast of an interview of Prof. S. K. Chakrabarti on different aspects of Astrophysics was arranged by ICSP and Malda Cable Network on Nov. 17, 2009. Mr. Asit K Choudhury conducted the interview. Extensive live telecasts of the balloon experiments took place during the total solar eclipse on 22nd July, 2010. Several newspapers covered the results.
